I'm very excited about joining Barry Johnson and Cliff Kayser in bringing Polarity Management (PM) to the DC area.  PM is a simple and effective way of dealing with complex issues that involve interdependent pairs.  It helps us see that many so-called problems to solve are polarities that need to be managed or harmonized.  Since our day-to-reality is full of having to deal with polarities, this is an intensely practical tool to learn.

As someone who has been working with the Integral model for several years, I have found that PM is a great support to being Integral - in fact it is one of the simplest ways to learn to 'be' and 'do' Integral. You can be very integrally informed and have a robust integral development plan for yourself - however, if in your day to day functioning you are not aware when you privilege a pole over its interdependent pair, you are not being fully integral.  To discover our pole preferences and to 'integrate' interdependent poles over time is a great integral skill to acquire.

Having worked with Barry for over nine years now, I believe Barry's depth and appreciation of this phenomenon and its relationship to the human process is unrivalled.  Barry, as much as the construct itself, informs me endlessly.  I look forward to partnering with Barry and Cliff and bring my own learning to share with you in the Washington D.C. area.
